with the convenience of digital image management.

Our professional photo lab was one of the first to employ this revolutionary tech that is still loved by many photographers. Ofcourse we are equipped with the latest inkjet fine art large format plotters but our Lambda C-Prints are the way to go if you want to turn your images into real photographic prints indistinguishable frome the one made in a darkoom.

This rapresents the best way to obtain C-Prints up to 100x500 centimetres which have all the characteristics of the analog prints so dear to our demanding clientele.

Lambda Durst chromogenic prints are perfect to be displayed mounted on Dibond, Forex and under Plexiglas.

Photography means "light writingt" and that's exactly what our Lambda Durst digital enlarger does to create impressive and impeccable C-prints.
Thanks to a perfectly maintained Lambda Durst coupled with a professional large format automatic developer fort the last 30 years until now we have been satisfying and ever growing numbers of artists and photograhers.

For this reason many photographers who shoot on film contact us for our DRUM SCANNING SERVICE always end to chose this kind of prints to finalize their work.

Thanks to our 40 years of experience we can easily mount any size of print either on Dibond or Forex. Plexiglas mount is also another option that has become a classic becouse it gives vibrance and depth to the images.

Our facility can: print, munt and frame artworks up to 180x500 centimeters.

 

LAMBDA VS INKJET


Our Lambda Durst digital enlarger is able to produce fine art prints characterized by soft tonal passages and delicate shades thanks to its continuous tone exposure. For this reason is the favourite choice for all those photographers who are looking to translate into their images the softness and the feeling of analogue printing.

Nowadays if we compare the mere technical specs of a last generation inkjet fine art plotter to a Lambda Drust the gap appears pretty big.
In fact inkjet fine art prints can reach extreme color gamut and maximum density not to mention the ever growing selection of fine art papers. All these amazing results are allowed by the use of pigments but this is also a limit.

Inkjet plotters "spray" the pigments on the emulsified paper surface that then partially assorbs them.  For this reason inkjet prints have an uneven surface depending on the ink level present in the various area.  This is really evident when we have images that features extreme highlights close to darker tones.

On the opposite C-prints, despite the tonal range of the image, will always present an even surface that refletcts light in a seamless way. This is possible because the silver halides are located under the emulsion of the print.

C-prints are in fact ideal for those images that need to push the highlights to the extreme without compromisig the overall look of the print.
Even if this is a 40 years old printing technology it's able to create stunning prints with amazing tonal range e details both in the highlights and shadows.

Metallic Papers


For the veterans who have never forgotten the long gone CIBACHROME and the newcomers looking for a unique ways of printing  we have the right solutions.

Our beloved Lambda Durst digital enlarger can impress also metallic photographic papers. Thanks to a thin metal foil contained between the base and the light sensitive layers this papers can achieve an incredible vibrance and brightness.

With the right lightining conditions these prints can appear almost as they were backlit. This is still one of the most requested C-prints because its amazing features are not reproducible with any inkjet alternative.

Il nostro laboratorio fotografico professionale è specializzato anche nella realizzazione di LIGHTBOX FINE ART RETROILLUMINATI CON LUCE LED.

Negli anni la luce neon è stata sostituita con quella estremamente performante e a basso consumo dei LED ma le parti fondamentali che compongono I NOSTRI LIGHTBOX FINE ART ARTIGIANALI sono sempre le stese e cioè: Chassis, Stampa Fotografica su Opalino, Illuminante e Sistema di Controllo.

Nonostante siano passati ormai più di due decenni dalla nostra prima stampa su PELLICOLA KODAK DURATRANS PER RETRO ILLUMINAZIONE riceviamo ancora tantissime richieste per questo tipo di servizio.

Effettivamente è possibile realizzare anche con la TECNOLOGIA INKJET FINE ART delle ottime stampe per retroilluminazione dotate sia di un Gamut Esteso che di una ottima neutralità per quanto riguarda le fotografie in bianco e nero.

Tuttavia la stampa fotografica su supporto cromogenico per retro illuminazione Kodak Duratrans viene molto apprezzata da tutti quei fotografi a cui sono cari i COLORI E LE TRASPARENZE DELLA DIAPOSITIVA.

Con il nostro ingranditore digitale Lambda Durst possiamo arrivare a un BANDA MASSIMA DI 125Cm. Se poi si vogliono raggiungere dimensioni più imporntati allora proponiamo una STAMPA INKJET FINE ART WIDE GAMUT su pellicola opalina. In questo modo possiamo realizzare immagini con banda massima 160 Cm. 

La stampa Inkjet fine art su pellicola backlit è anche la migliore quando ci si trova a dover realizzare opere con immagini in bianco e nero.
Effettivamente la tecnologia giclée consente di ottenere toni estremamente neutri e eventualmente di correggere le tendenze cromatiche della retro illuminazione in maniera estremamente precisa.

Successivamente poi la stampa verrà pannellizzata su una superfice di plexiglass appositamente lavorato per diffondere la luce dei nostri LIGHTBOX FINE ART ARTIGIANALI.

Trattandosi di lavorazioni totalmente personalizzabili sarà possibile scegliere se presentare l'opera nei nostri CHASSIS SLIM che hanno le dimensioni di una cornice a cassetta 4x5 Cm. oppeure mediante un TOTEM AUTOPORTANTE MONO O BIFACCIALE.
