Museal glasses and protective plexiglas
MAXIMUM VISIBILITY AND PROTECTION FOR YOUR ARTWORKS
The cutting, management and installation of museum glass or other finishing solutions such as ultra clear Plexiglas is one of the most delicate processes in our service portfolio.
However, we believe that internally managing all stages of processing is essential to provide tailor-made solutions to those who rely on our forty years of experience.
The creation of custom glass may seem like a secondary service but in reality when dealing with the protagonists of photography, contemporary art and interior design it becomes fundamental.
Comparison between a standard glass and an Ultravue Museal specially coated glass.
On the one hand, the use of protective glass or Plexiglas has a primary function of protection both from mechanical damage and from UV radiation, however its purely aesthetic function should not be underestimated.
In fact, a finished fine art print: with a cassette frame, passepartout and museum glass, it immediately becomes a timeless classic that can be organically inserted both in an art gallery and in a modern private residence.
We are well aware that the use of non-museum protective glass or Plexiglas can give rise to unpleasant reflections, however our catalog includes solutions that combine excellent performance at an extremely attractive price.
Museum grade glasses
In our opinion the beating heart of a great artwork is a flawless and stunning fin art print but it has to be carefully protected elegantly displayed with even more care in the finishes.
Every time we are about to start a new prodcution we are well aware that every steps that lead to the finished artwork are crucial.
Our goal is to provide our clients not only with the highest level of QUALITY but also with CUSTOMIZATION.
For this reason we have a specific catalog for museum solutions which includes the best brands in the sector selected on the basis of their technical specifications.
The decision to offer such a vast portfolio also as regards the types of conservative glass is dictated by the awareness of their fundamental contribution in creating beautiful and long-lasting works.
Precisely for this reason, each proposal in our catalog covers a different price range so that it can be adopted based on the type of budget available to the client.

Standar Glassesa and Ultra Clear Plexiglas
The goal of our professional photographic laboratory, specialized in fine art printing, is to offer as many solutions and alternatives as possible to our customers.
This choice is due to the awareness, gained in more than forty years of activity, that each work is a unique piece whose preparation requires specific processes.
The broad spectrum covered by our portfolio of services related to handcrafted finishes not only aims to offer the highest quality but also the possibility of meeting different budget ranges.
Finishing one's works with an ultra clear Plexiglas or with a standard glass is in fact a useful alternative if it is not possible to adopt that of anti-reflection museum glass.
VETRO GLASS OR PLEXIGLAS ULTRA CLEAR?
In recent years, even classic materials such as Plexiglas have had interesting developments.
In fact, plastic materials are at the center of continuous research and improvements whose long wave also reaches the world of fine art printing and fittings.
Among the protection solutions we offer, PLEXIGLAS ULTRA CLEAR is among the most requested as it combines lightness and resistance at an extremely competitive price. As a finishing budget solution, we also offer CLASSIC GLASS given its convenience from an economic point of view.
However, this type of glass on the other hand has a fairly high weight and can represent a risk for the safety of the public and of the work itself in case of breakage.
For this reason, unless the customer expressly requests it, WE ALWAYS TENDS TO RECOMMEND PLEXIGLAS ULTRA CLEAR as a protection for the works.
Ultimately it is a LIGHTWEIGHT, SAFE material WITH THE SAME RATE OF REFLECTION AS NORMAL GLASS.
In both cases we would like to underline that from the point of view of attenuation of reflections and protection from light radiation we are dealing with two materials that are not in the least comparable to the museum protective glass that we offer.
The use of standard glass or ultra-transparent plexiglass is indicated when the work is to be installed in an environment with controlled lighting and possibly without direct exposure to sunlight.
CUSTOM DIPLAY CASES
Plexiglas is an extremely ductile material with infinite applications. Thanks to our continuous contact with the world of CONTEMPORARY ART and COLLECTIBLES, we have developed a line of CUSTOM-MADE PLEXIGLAS CASES that adapt perfectly to any type of work.
